The Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders (ICDL) is an international network of clinicians, educators, researchers and parents working in the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect to identify innovative approaches to the identification, treatment and education of children with developmental, communication and learning disorders. Stanley Greenspan, M.D. is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Behavioral Sciences, and Pediatrics at George Washington University Medical School. He is a practicing child psychiatrist and Chairman of the Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders. The vision of The P.L.A.Y. Project is to be a community based/regional autism training and early intervention center dedicated to empowering parents and professionals to implement intensive, developmental interventions for young children (18 months to 6 years) with autism in the most effective and efficient way.
