Rebecca Berg, OTR Occupational TherapistRebecca Berg, OTR
Occupational Therapist

Rebecca completed her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at NYU, where she was awarded the Frieda J. Behlan Scholarship. She relocated to Seattle specifically for an internship with Rosemary White’s practice and leapt at the invitation to join!

Long fascinated by research and study in the area of social perception and cognition, Rebecca worked as a research assistant in the field of language acquisition and her own thesis sought to investigate social behaviors in children with sensory regulatory deficits. She became interested in the science of interaction while acting and directing, and taught theater students to apply these concepts to their projects in a program she helped to develop at NYU. Rebecca was also a founding teacher at LearningSpring Elementary in NY, a school created by parents for their high functioning children with ASD. She developed curriculum for her 1st and 2nd graders that incorporated emotional regulation and social interaction into their academic lessons.

When she’s not playing in the therapy rooms, Rebecca is always busy running, reading, cooking, volunteering, and traipsing about the mountaintops and shores of Washington.
